Anti-semitism is on the rise in the Evangelical Church around the world. Much of it stems from the erroneous teaching that God has rejected Israel and replaced her with the Church. It is incumbent upon those who hold this view to provide biblical evidence that this is the case, but must do so in the face of at least two facts; 1) Paul explicitly states that this is not the case (Rom. 11:1-2 ff), and 2) whenever Scripture speaks of Israel, it is always speaking of Israel as a nation, or Israel, the son of Isaac, formerly known as Jacob.
